 | Well, it’s no longer a secret... Whoever you are and wherever you live, it can’t have escaped your notice that the world is now changing rapidly! In fact, it wouldn’t be completely unreasonable to say that there’s an immense shift taking place.... a shift in our focus and perspectives, a shift in our view of the economic system, a dizzying range of environmental and political shifts and even a shift in the Earth’s magnetic poles!!! And yet, in the midst of the many dramatic changes taking place around us, almost on a daily basis, there are still many people who have not yet |
even begun to contemplate the wonderful, life-changing spiritual and philosophical implications of what all these changes might mean for the evolution of humanity.
For many of us though, it’s simply the vindication of a long-held belief that we are here on Earth at this time to assist in ushering in a new golden age of peace, cooperation and global harmony that will probably manifest on Earth within the course of our own lifetimes... once the chaos settles!

| If you are a spiritual seeker, or someone with a passion for looking deeper into the meaning and purpose of life, one of the terms you might have come across in recent years is ‘Lightworker,’ an expression I first heard when I first discovered The Lightworker’s Way, by Doreen Virtue. |  |
In the years since discovering this almost completely self-explanatory term, I’ve personally developed an increasingly greater depth to my understanding of what it truly means to be a Lightworker, if fact, my journey of spiritual seeking and discovery over the last 30 or so years has led me through a vast range of experiences, preparations, trainings, meetings and encounters – both physical and non-physical - across many dimensions.
There are many ways to describe what it means to be a lightworker but usually, to put it in its most straight-forward terms, you are most probably a lightworker if you are here on Earth at this time with a burning desire, somewhere in your heart, to do something good that will help to bring about a positive change on Earth. So for anyone reading this blog who just knows that they are here to contribute to this amazing shift, or anyone who just sometimes feels slightly at odds with the world but isn’t always sure exactly why, I thought it would be nice to share some thoughts about what I feel a lightworker is, and why it’s so important for us to develop a clearer understanding of our role at this current point in our evolution...

So for anyone reading this blog who just knows that they are here to contribute to this amazing shift, or anyone who just sometimes feels slightly at odds with the world but isn’t always sure exactly why, I thought it would be nice to share some thoughts about what I feel a lightworker is, and why it’s so important for us to develop a clearer understanding of our role at this current point in our evolution...
Many people who are reading this message will already take it for granted that we are all beings of light. They will already have an understanding that the spirit is a body of light - the purest and truest aspect of our being and a part of the infinite consciousness that leaves the physical body after its ‘death’. However, even while we’re still here on Earth, occupying a 3rd dimensional body, some of our spirit light will still be perceptible to the more sensitive observer, even through the veils of our physical density. It will reveal itself through a radiant smile, a sparkling pair of eyes, the loving vibration of our voices when we speak, sing, laugh and interact with other bodies of light, and increasingly more, as I carry out my work as an intuitive and healer, I find that even those who don’t consider themselves to be clairvoyant are beginning to see or perceive energy fields or auras around souls who embody a great deal of light.
 | The more we place our focus on this loving light, while still existing in our physical bodies, the more the light within us will expand, until it begins to erupt into a personal spiritual awakening. At times, this will create havoc in our lives, as we suddenly begin to see everything that was false, exactly as it is, and something deep inside us demands that we make changes, sometimes in every area of our lives! |
After all, we were physical beings who suddenly woke up from our materialist dream and began to ask to be reacquainted with the light, while in physical form. And when this happens, the light says,
"Yes, I’m here, but how can I exist in THERE? If I come into that body I will expose and sweep away everything that is not light...are you ready for that?!" And you say,
"Yes, it’s what I came here to do...to become a body of light on earth, so that others would be reminded..." And the light says,
"Alrighty then... hang on to your hat!" Because let’s face it, becoming a being of light is not without challenges. But in time, the more we focus on the love that sent us here, the more brightly it will shine, eventually becoming even more perceptible to everyone around us! But whether or not this light is perceived, it is constantly at work in the world, touching everyone we meet and reminding them of the light within themselves.
The job of the lightworker, then, in a nutshell, is to allow, embody, petition, manifest, invoke and anchor increasingly large amounts of light, in the kind of quantities that will affect the planet in a tangible way - through their bodies and their petitioning to the higher realms, the higher self and God Consciousness... or Source. If your job is to work as an energy lightworker, you might experience periods of vulnerability, ungrounded-ness, hyper-sensitivity or confusion and sometimes feel lost and isolated, unable to share the sudden weirdness taking over your life. If this happens, remember to take time for yourself, breathe, meditate, ask God/Source to guide you through the confusion and trust that you will find a way to emerge brighter, stronger, clearer and wiser than you were before. Always know that there IS a Divine plan and that you are simply being prepared for your place within it.
The more light we bring to planet Earth, the more the darker elements of our collective karma - the lessons of eons of perceived separation from this Divine Loving Light - will fade away. The more we focus on our intentions of channelling more light, the more the frequency of the Earth will rise and the closer we will move towards the golden age on Earth. However, there are other elements of light-work that do not involve such a hefty process and there are many different kinds of Lightworkers. There are those who will demand of us that we question the darkness. Those who speak out against the machinations of the old order, to expose its deceit, while others will work to adjust the vibrational frequency of the earth by charging crystals and placing them at sacred sites as the planet raises it’s frequency - and as it does so, so too will we be triggered even further into moving up a collective notch in our own ascension. There is an immense number of Lightworkers who are healers, practising a vast range of revolutionary, new, high frequency therapies. There are even Lightworkers whose role is to remind us of the frequencies held within food and water, helping us to prepare our bodies, minds and hearts for these finer vibratory fields. There are also Lightworkers whose actions simply remind us of what love... humanitarian, unconditional 5th dimensional love ...looks and feels like. Others, still, are bringing us new forms of spirit-centred creativity, art, science, literature and ideas for new living structures.

There are also so many ways of being a light-worker, some of which might simply involve living a quiet life, as a very truthful person with a high degree of integrity, a gentle soul who brings the light of truth and compassion into the sphere of others they come into daily contact with. There are multitudes of Buddhist monks meditating in monasteries, hoards of faithful followers of other creeds (those you will probably never get to hear about) who remember that each religion or faith was initially given as a way for us to remember all these loving truths, which come streaming in from this eternally loving light. There are even light-workers living on the streets, smiling at you on your way to work, mumbling a crazed hello, or something about life being too short to worry, and in that moment when we wonder, what on earth that person with no home is smiling about, we might remember that peace is not dependent on material circumstances; it is generated by a connection with all that truly matters and the ability to give thanks for the simplest of things... and this, in itself...is love.
Love is the thing that brings the greatest light. Love is what moves us to make this change, and if we at least try to ensure that our actions are born out of love, we will see the change...and we will begin to live within the love that we are.
